Kenneth, Obama is not Reagan.

Obama isn't fit to walk a mile in Reagan's footsteps, figuratively speaking.

I give Obama less than to the fall-----I'll give him until the first of June after people file their taxes and begin their summer vacations if they can afford them.

Senators Call AIG 'Lost Cause' Banking Panel Slams Handling of Bailout, More Rescue Funds
By Brady Dennis
Washington Post Staff Writer
Friday, March 6, 2009

Angry lawmakers yesterday blasted the government's latest bailout of American International Group and threatened to thwart any request to give the troubled insurance giant additional taxpayer money without more transparency into how the funds are being spent.

Members of the Senate Banking Committee pressed Federal Reserve Vice Chairman Donald Kohn about why his agency has refused to disclose the trading partners of AIG who have benefited from the government's rescue package, now estimated at about $170 billion. Large sums have been spent by the company to pay off its obligations to other financial firms.

"My judgment would be that giving the names would undermine the stability of the company," Kohn said.

That answer did not sit well with lawmakers.

I Voted Democrat Because

Thursday, March 05, 2009
WBAL Radio

The Democrat team of President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden entering the White House

I think this says it all:

I voted Democrat because I love the fact that I can now marry whatever I want. I've decided to marry my horse.

I voted Democrat because I believe oil companies' profits of 4% on a gallon of gas are obscene but the government taxing the same gallon of gas at 15% isn't.

I voted Democrat because I believe the government will do a better job of spending the money I earn than I would..

I voted Democrat because freedom of speech is fine as long as nobody is offended by it.

I voted Democrat because when we pull out of Iraq I trust that the bad guys will stop what they're doing because they now think we're good people.

I voted Democrat because I'm way too irresponsible to own a gun, and I know that my local police are all I need to protect me from murderers and thieves.

I voted Democrat because I believe that people who can't tell us if it will rain on Friday can tell us that the polar ice caps will melt away in ten years if I don't start driving a Prius.

I voted Democrat because I'm not concerned about the slaughter of millions of babies so long as we keep all death row inmates alive.-See Martin O'Malley as a prime example of this

I voted Democrat because I believe that business should not be allowed to make profits for themselves. They need to break even and give the rest away to the government for redistribution as THEY see fit.

I voted Democrat because I believe liberal judges need to rewrite the Constitution every few days to suit some fringe kooks who would never get their agendas past the voters.

"A Liberal is a person who will give away everything they don't own."
"The problem with Socialism is that you eventually run out of other
people's money." -- Margaret Thatcher"

Obama's safety net: the TelePrompter
news.yahoo.com

President Barack Obama doesn’t go anywhere without his TelePrompter.

...no other president has used one so consistently and at so many events, large and small.

Obama has relied on a teleprompter through even the shortest announcements and when repeating the same lines on his economic stimulus plan that he's been saying for months...

“He uses them to death,” a television crewmember who also covered the White House under Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush said of the teleprompter. “The problem is, he never looks at you. He’s looking left, right, left, right — not at the camera. It’s almost like he’s not making eye contact with the American people.”

Reagan was not an unknown qualitatively. Obama is an unknown and as people see his proposals and hear his words they are simply establishing their first images of him...and it isn't good.

Obama had no record to speak of and was just another Chicago politician who could speak.
