Earlie: You will like the interview in today's Barron's with an economist John Makin, about the "deflationary impluse" from the overcapacity, competitive devaluations, and collapsing domestic markets in Asia. He echoes what you and I have been saying, that the real threat to the US economy is a 1930's type deflation, with collapsing profits and investment.

The issue also has an interview with hedge fund guy Wm. Fleckenstein who bashes all the PC related tech stocks, especially INTC, MU, and GTW, and even (Sacrilege!) DELL and CPQ.
