Obama's gift was intended to insult...Make no mistake about it. O laid down a new cheapened protocol for our best friend...I am convinced this insult was ordained from the top. To cut old ties, we must first separate ourselves from respected old relationships...I would label this, politics at its worst, and usurpation at its worst.

I'm in complete agreement, uncle. The British press has been filled with stories about how Obama and his people arbitrarily downgraded the importance of the meeting. The U.S. has no better friend than Great Britain. Somewhere down the line, there will be a price to pay for this premeditated insult.

What could have prompted Obama to give such a gift? Especially if our State Department protocol group had suggested other items that would have been better?

Surely, he should have known better.
