That was probably a factor in Joel Parkinson leaving/getting fired; with Appleton it seems like it was just a silly power play b/t him and Tyler Lowry/certain members of the board, and that he had the audacity to sell some stock. > I understood back then that Appleton was angry with Simplot for giving out inside info to his cronies to buy or sell MU, and Simplot was angry with Appleton for wanting to sell stock to finance projects. Lowry was the snake in the grass standing behind Simplot criticising Appleton and If I remember correctly fabricated something about Appletons problems within the co.( can't remember exactly what it was). Lowry got him kicked out and became CEO, but then the board got the whole story ...they fired lowry re-hired Appleton and told Simplot to go back to planting potatoes.
