I doubt that. In fact if it causes the Swiss to stop their secret banking practice it may actually help the economy.

Did I say that? If I fire an employee, it has little bearing on the rest of the world. If AIG falls apart in an uncontrolled fashion, it could destroy the world economy. Not sure why the difference is so hard to understand.

I don't buy the idea that when AIG declares bankruptcy, the world comes to an end. While Obama preaches against the excesses of corporate greed, he gives them a blank check while working Americans' retirement accounts are becoming worthless.
