An article full of lies.

Second, they argue, the Obama administration will not usher in an era of big government. Federal spending over the last generation has been about 20 percent of G.D.P. This year, it has surged to about 27 percent. But they aim to bring spending down to 22 percent of G.D.P. in a few years. And most of the increase, they insist, is caused by the aging of the population and the rise of mandatory entitlement spending. It’s not caused by big increases in the welfare state.

I have absolutely no doubt this is true. You just need to look at the man......there is not an ounce of fat on him. People who are thin typically run a lean machine......its very much a part of their mindset.

As for these complaints about socialism.....first of all, we know wingers are not well informed and don't really know what socialism is. There is little about Obama's policies that are truly socialistic. Secondly, this country is so pro capitalist that the very idea we would turn into a socialist state is laughable if it weren't for the fact that the wingers won't shout up about it.

Good article!

I continue to be amazed at how enamored the center-left crown like Brooks continue to be with this guy.

At what point does intellect outweigh ideology? Where, on the political spectrum, does good sense kick in to unseat the blindness these people have when it comes to Obama? And when it finally does kick in (and it will), will it be enough to stop this guy from destroying the country? That remains to be seen.

At least it isn't blood on my hands.

Does anyone know where you can get a "Don't Blame Me - I Voted Against the Messiah" bumper sticker?
