I caught Steve Forbes on FOX on XM while doing a driveup deposit. He was talking of Mark to Market and how it alone is causing the bank crisis. Banks are positive cash flow with cash on hand and bankrupted by an accounting entry. Claims the bank crisis ends immediately just by eliminating that rule. Interesting thought.

I didn't realize this but Roosevelt ended it 70 years ago and ended his banking crisis because of it.
