brk book value actually fell last year, so i see little incentive buying it over a broad market index here. this ge capital slow burn is a forest fire waiting to ignite. until there is real resolution, both ge and buffett's other charity play, gs maybe major negative factors with brk/a shares. besides, $140k is a lot of money in any one name right now... on a trading basis, probably buy brk/a with either a 5 or 8 handle. finally, i'd much rather put money (if i had some) with qcom, goog, or aapl. even qqqq is a better buy. paul
