On top of all this we went deep into deficit because he spent money on a war of choice and he enacted irresponsible taxcuts to people who didn't need tax cuts. Investments in health care, education, energy, and crumbling infrastructure is the only solution to stimulating the economy sufficiently for us to get the economy functioning again.

Deception at Core of Obama Plans By Charles Krauthammer Terribly typical high level hysterics from K. I repeat, Michael, if you wish to discuss this stuff seriously then don't show up on the thread with a post blaming liberals for all the sins of the world (which meshes neatly with a long ago post of yours someone sent me as a PM to the effect that liberals are such because of psychological disorders) and a flame thrower from K. As you might guess, I can find lots of flame thrower pieces today. The woods, on both sides of the political spectrum, are filled with them. But the entire point of this thread is to have conversations in which we respect one another's point of view. Not compatible with bomb throwing. Slacker is a terrific model as someone who posts here but takes more issue with some of the Obama proposals than many of the rest of us do. I recommend his posts as a model.
