"you mow your meadow? geezus. thought you were low maint and all that." Yeah, and it's a job! Takes about 4 hours with a 48" deck lawn tractor. I just like the way it looks. I don't irrigate so if we have a dry summer I only have to do it a few of times. It's also a good fire supression idea. Got my cast iron dutch oven at the ready but no moose yet. I can tell you one thing for sure. I am staying in Montana next winter. I do not want to be out here when the chit really hits the fan.
