It's apparent on this and other issues that there is no common ground. Obama needs to stop wasting time inviting Republicans over to the White House to watch sporting events and instead take the issues directly to their home districts. Debate the issue with DeMint in his district. Shine the light on his and other Republican's absurd positions and let the people deal with DeMint and his fellow wackos. If Obama takes his case to the people he will win - and finish two terms as America's finest President. Obama wants common ground, but the current Republican cabal wants to stomp its feet on the fringe.
