Even if true, none of that matters now. McConnell is not the issue, the budget is.

"....and, btw, your rush limbaugh, larry kudlow party line claim that this is now an obama recession / depression is even bigger baloney.. wall street may not like obama but the main force behind this crash is the avalanche of depressing economic news coming out of forth q company and macro reports.

and that is the result of 8 years of trickle down / supply side policies that did nothing to advance the american economy to compete globally into the 21st century. instead we kept rates low so consumers could blow up their home equity debt and keep shopping. that, coupled with complete deregulation so wall street could leverage up to absurd unsupported levels is the direct cause of the mess obama inherited.

there was no switch that obama could flip to turn this titanic around but they have made a beginning. i agree they things could have gone a lot smoother with the cabinet and geithner but obama is doing what needs to be done"
