I still think it will never get built. Too many British columbians don't want oil tankers travelling through these treacherous storm-wracked earthquake prone waters.

LNG might fly, because the consequences of a shipwreck would be nowhere near as debilitating as for an oil tanker.

Yes lots of infrastructure could be built that serves our needs one way or another and decreases our trade dependence wrt to any one particular nation...
