The real unpleasant myth is that a person of average intelligence and mediocre education can actually become President of the United States and be able to manage the country.

Bare foot, log cabin, and cornpone smarts are not sufficient to manage the complexities of a country like ours in this day and age..

I just don't know how George Bush got away with it. I mean what kind of meetings did he have with national security and economic advisors. What questions did he ask? How much of the briefings did he understand?

You wonder why our economy is in such shambles right now?
