you can have all the tax revolts people wish... they will not succeed until they stop politicians from spending. the blindness to the spending orgies kills any effort for tax limitation. the more incredible thing is that some of the spending is completely wasteful. maybe (but i doubt it) this depression will finally open the eyes of voters and will make politicians begin to act somehow ethically and responsibly... (even a more improbable event to occur) rally on monday ? i doubt it too.

You may recall the Shyster was recently in Mesa, AZ. Yesterday a friend of mine showed me a large number of photographs of protesters holding placards saying things like "I'd like a Mercedes." "Obama I wanna 65" Plasma TV". "I need a beachfront condo." My favorite "Give Me Pelosi's Plane!" Anyways, the point is I did not see this anywhere including local news. I really do not believe the poll numbers we are given. I think they are baked just like all the rest. And, here's another hooter. businessweek.com
