It was not a puerile comment. Let me explain. People here observed that Madoff 'ran off to Israel' with the money, and 'beat a bunch of people for his Jewish friends'. What I found from looking at the client list was that it was very Jewish. I don't know if it was overrepresented, but there was no shortage. So the conundrum may be that if Madoff was stealing for Jews, he was stealing from Jews in equal measure. Bernie was really an equal opportunity thief, and I hope the judge takes that into account. I am not trying to annoy anyone. Really. I am just observing some interesting ironies in the thread's take on things. EC<:-}
