What about Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, who planned both 911 and the 1993 WTC attacks, among others - was it okay to go after him too?

And the #2 guy, al Zawahiri - should we go after him too?

And what to do given the top two guys have still evaded capture and death (as far as we know)? Both are believed to be in Pakistan somewhere - either in the northwest or hiding with supporters in some large Pakistani city. So should we be in Pakistan?

BTW within days of 911, weren't we doing what you suggest?

100% to get bin Laden, forget international borders, forget all treaties. Forget nation building in Afghanistan and Iraq. A singular focus... then move on with life.

So invade Afghanistan, and Pakistan (a much more populous country with many more people and nuclear weapons), radicalize them even more, without building any structure in their place, so both get ruled by Islamic radicals (and in Pakistan you have Islamic radicals with nukes).

Meanwhile we probably don't get bin Laden anyway, or even if we do, there are plenty of other leaders in Al Qaeda to continue the fight.
