I read "The Fountainhead" when I was about 14. Didn't really grab me.

Of course not, just my point. It takes a higher level of maturity to 'read' The Fountainhead or any of her works. A good beginning obviously being to watch the movie with Gary Cooper, not to bad in all its tragedy.

I also (kind of) read 'Moby Dick' and 'The Read and the Black (Stendahl)' in my youth. Didn't turn me on. I read the Stendahl book and more by him 10 years later, as well as Romeo and Juliet...well, a different story then.
