Pancho, I remember reading a while ago that the worldwide Home PC market represented only about 10% of Intel's revenue, and that the U.S. Home PC market was only about 5%.

Now if we further break that down by saying the Sub 1K PC's sold represent 40% of that 5%, aren't we talking about a pretty small effect on Intel's bottom line? Not something to ignore, but certainly not the death-noll as outlined in that article.

If my memory is clouded here, please square me away.

Michael

Puncho - Re: Fleckenstein

Interesting - He's been short Technology stocks for what 2 or 3 years?

So - he has been WRONG for 2 to 3 years. Now that there is a downtrend, he supposedly is "right".

That makes him a genius?

Being WRONG and SHORT for three years?

Let us assume he shorted Intel 2 years ago - On October 25, 1995, Intel was trading for $34.

Puncho - THAT'S $34 - with Intel down today to $80, this BOZO IS STILL LOSING $46 for EVERY SHARE OF INTEL he shorted!

And he's a financial genius?

This guy has lost big money for his investors.

And he's a financial genius?
