The uptick rule was eliminated on October, 26, 2007, of course,
not in 2008. Sorry about that.

Uptick rule, was it in effect during 29 and 87 crash if so it don't mean a thing. If not then maybe you have a point!

Computer trading might have as much as an effect in that anybody, anywhere doing massive selling! Dark Pools, and so many platforms to trade with, I'm sure SEC has it all under control.<VBG>
