I tried those little crumbled thingies grocery stores offer and would rather go without.

i'm visiting out of state right now, and the store where i recently shopped (regular store, not gourmet) only had the crumbled version as well....so i actually asked the manager what the story was....in this particular case, she said that they only stock the cheeses that move quickly and are trying to keep the more expensive cheeses to a minimum...obvious reason...people continue to 'spend down'

the wine store that i patronize recently had the largest number of 'discount' tags i have ever seen....the store only offers those discounts for cash sales...margins must be getting squeezed
