it is... I chickened out... and when I came back to the office the thing really shifted gears. These late day bounces ain´t no good...

Looks like a new low, right? (Edit: not yet; on Friday it traded lower).

I got call options in DOW filled while I was out... well they are good three months. But with my luck, DOW overpays for ROH and goes to $3. But currently DOW, ROH are halted so its a guessing game.

How true. Turned out that I hadn´t paid my dues today. While I got something for the dow contracts when I got off the bus before it exploded....I had some DowChem calls orders working whcih I didn´t cancel...

Oh well. They executed before the halt... and now the stock is down, way down. Whatever I tried in chemicals it never seems to work.

Looks that I´ll likely end up fading down DOW. They have so hopelessly overpaid for ROH. A restructuring next door.

Todays premarket adds insult to the injury, no doubt. In fact I could have bought anything else but DOW.

Citi has a profitable quarter; so banks clearly surge today.

My bet is pretty clear. Short ROH as it climbed within a few nickels of the takeout price; the worst case is a small loss (but I am careful.. if there are no ROH shares out any more it could squeeze like ABRX did).
An insolvent DOW can not take over ROH.
