Accusing conservatives of "putting ideology ahead of country" is another tactic of the "you shut up" liberals.

Trying to revive the economy is not about ideology but you all want it to be.

"Of course it's all about ideology."

It doesn't have to be. There is the concept of 'pragmatism' you know. There is something to say for doing things that, you know, actually work instead of being ideologically pure.

"Obama and the Democrats are pursuing their ideology."

Some Democrats, sure. All? Nope. They are trying to solve a problem. Or, more realistically, a set of problems.

"Accusing conservatives of "putting ideology ahead of country" is another tactic of the "you shut up" liberals."

BS, Tenchu. Accusing conservatives of putting ideology ahead of country is exactly what is happening. Look at i-node, he is on record for saying he'd prefer a depression over even a small increase in socialism. That certainly isn't putting the country first. Or even his own self-interest.
