Inode, > Last week, it was disclosed that Keith Olbermann had been lying about his having attended Cornell, claiming he attended an "Ivy-league" university.

OMG, you really have to start thinking for yourself.

Keith Olbermann did indeed attend Cornell. Ann Coulter, who is also from Cornell, is twisting the truth, saying that the Ag school in Cornell isn't really Cornell.

Kudos!

Really? Guess all of my Cornell friends who attended the Ag school aren't really from Cornell either. Some of them went on to med school and are now doctors; I should inform the boards that they "padded their resumes" ...

Why would someone do this?

Why would a person who attended an essentially unrelated school claim to have attended a different school? On this basis I could claim to have a degree from a couple of large universities where I never set foot. Universities that had huge budgets, big-name professors, and different curricula.

I'm sorry, but I have to agree with Coulter on this one. The University of Texas is not the same as UTEP or UTA.

It's not. Its a completely different campus, and not Ivy League.
