CJ, > You never give up, do you?

That's the goal of the "you shut up" liberals, isn't it? To get conservatives to "give up."

I'll give up when you pry the truth from my cold, dead fingers ...

P.S. - That 3.5M job figure is not a "pragmatic" projection, by the way. The economy could shed another 10M jobs over the next four years and Obama will still claim he "saved 3.5M jobs." Of course, you think political games like this one are "pragmatic" and not "ideology" ...

It isn't doing something for the sake of doing something. The initial figures were arrived at with input of economists. That is where they got the projection of 3.5 million jobs, for example. So the overall shape of the plan was done with input from people who know something about what they are talking about. That is about as pragmatic as you can get.

They have nothing else. For the average joe to pretend to understand anymore than the obvious side effects of the economic downturn we are experiencing and authoritatively critique the actions of folks who are trying to do something about it is silly. I think John Stewart made that point quite well with "humor"
