I agree with you Nadine, and most of us acquire our beliefs that way.

Regardless of the bigness and complexity of the world, and also because of who their mentors were and the surroundings in which they grew up, most people don't have to or are unwilling or unable to give any thought to much else.

As an example.......most Union members were born into Union families, they'll always be Union members, living their lives thinking about what it means to be a member of a Union, and most of them will die Union members.

If what you say is true, and he fits that mold, it would be challenging for Obama to formulate a policy based on a multitude of ideas and concrete information. It could be confusing, which would make it very difficult for him to lead.

Because he's never really thought it all through, he doesn't know what he thinks about many of the very difficult issues landing on his desk right now.
