Yes, Bush/Cheney/Paulson/Bernanke et al destroyed the economy and handed it over to the Obama team for repair. I don't like Geithner who is tainted with the thievery of Paulson but maybe he'll get his head on straight. Yes, Obama inherited a terrible mess, the worst economic situation since the GD and he is also saddled with the Republikan Socialists who keep wanting to hand over money to the mysterious and fantastical force called the free market. That the free market doesn't exist, it barely exists in theory, has escaped the Republikans which is another reason the nuclear option should be invoked during what appears to be the second Republikan DEPRESSION.
