Because no matter what, Obama is going to claim that he "succeeded." Even if 3.5M jobs disappear under his watch, he'll claim that without him, it would have been 7M.

Don't believe me? Look at the gun control advocates in D.C. having to explain away the increase in gun violence after D.C. banned them. They claim the violence would have been even worse without the ban.
