What's interesting is that alot of people don't know much about filibusters and the role they play in government. Hell, I didn't know much about it until 9/11. I learned alot after 9/11. :)

What I don't like is the use of the filibuster as rhetorical excuse by Democrats and their defenders for denying the Democrats have any responsibility for whats going on. Reading you guys, you'd think the Republicans were running Congress today.
