I'd love to see their reaction if the kid was a liberal. They'd be hailing him the next president...(if he wasn't white)....<g>

It's so stupid. All the kid did was give a speech to a group not affiliated with the Republican party. How does that translate into Republican panic?

We all waste a great deal of time on silliness around here.

My only reason for posting was to correct the implication MM made in his post that I was "taking apart" Krohn, or was part of some liberal media attack. I thought his response was misleading. I love kids, and would never diminish their efforts and achievements. I said good things about the young man, and any other posts I have written have been from the POV of a parent who raised a child like Krohn and knows the perils of precociousness. I would have had the same reaction if he were a Dem. wunderkind. I may be wobbly at economics and politics, but I feel pretty good about my parenting.

Desperation, confusion, whatever, the Reps are in need of some coherent, strong leadership right now, and there does appear to be a certain in-party struggle. The Dems went through it a few years ago. They got lucky with Obama and took advantage of the terrible state of the conservative party post Bush. Maybe Jindal will work for the Rep. I don't think Palin will, but that's just a personal opinion. I definitely think Joe the Plumber has had his 15 minutes, and why his comments on Krohn were considered newsworthy just puzzles me. I think choosing Rush's style over Michael Steele's is a mistake. CPAC's Choosing Romney in their straw poll was eminently sane. It's too bad it got so eclipsed by the Rush hoopla.
Don't forget- I always voted conservative before Obama. It took a lot to get me to the dark side this year. :)

Two weeks later and they're still whining. Must be worried!

I dunno.

I thought it was a sign of desperation for the Dems to latch onto BO.<g>
