Dennis--Excellent observation Re INTC announcement. It was almost my thoughts exactly.
I think alot of companies are happy about the recent weakness; it gives them a chance to accumulate for employee programs and general investment. I look for more announcements like TRV-- $1 billion in stock repurchase, especially--make that hopefully--from the cos. I own (INTC, MSFT, AMAT, CPQ, etc.)

Dennis, if the reasing follows the way you suspect and I think there is substance to your post, I agree with you that Intel would in fact be wise in trying to drive the stock down in order to buy back a ton of their own shares before the evidence of booming demand for Merced comes to fruition. Yes the story in Worth about Intel was quite remarkable.
