Joan, if you and me will start hearing about those Banks beeing in trouble it will be to late.

WS will kill (dump) the banks shares before you will have any chance to place an order to sell, and transform you in another "LONG TERM INVETOR" waithing to break even over several years.

So!? Short term Bonds are atractive even at 6%. In 5 years you will gain 50% to maturity.

If bank stocks get hit, who knows if you may break even in 5 years.

CCI was at similar price levels in 87 only to skid to $13 and rebound.

In 10 year bonds you would more than tripple your money. (yield on a 10 year note was around 8.75 then)

Happy trading
Haim
