"I can't imagine at all how the United States could ever fall apart," Malashenko told the AP. This is a really interesting statement. Who would have thought, a couple years ago, that the world would be facing the potential for a depression as we may be? When people have nothing to lose the potential for a dangerous situation to evolve is increased. Consider NOLA during the flood. And the crime there is still out of control even though life long ago returned to much of the city. One can imagine several situations bubbling up to the surface. Red versus Blue states. There is a huge group of black inner-city racist young adults who have no respect for life and could rampage at any moment. Even the aforementioned Chuck Norris movement. And there is still a great potential for terrorist attack. Any and/or all of these subsets could explode at once creating a radically different America. I don't think it will get to that but Obama needs to FORGET his radical agenda and focus on the one big problem at hand -- restoring the economy. The problem here is that he had a radical agenda coming into office, he has his one-shot at the presidency, and he isn't willing to give that agenda up just to see the economy come back. As a result, he's going to bring the entire ship down.

If Igor Panarin is right, then President Barack Obama will order martial law in the coming year, the United States will disintegrate into six runt-states before 2011, and Russia and China will come to be the backbones of a new world order. Panarin said he had been predicting the demise of the world's wealthiest country for more than a decade now. Sounds like he's talking about Russia. You do know that Russia is in serious economic trouble these days, don't you? Oh wait, they point it out in the article you posted. What a meatball you are!
