If you're against gun control, for states rights, against illegal immigration you're voting for a party (Democratic) that is against you.

On some things they are against me on others they are with me.

If you're truly a deficit hawk, you should be alarmed by Obama's budget plans.

I am also against depressions.

Now support for the UAW, thats a Democratic position.

Yeah, so?

If you're an agnostic on AGW, where does your support of solar and wind come from and the hostility to oil and gas and coal?

Oil is an economic and national security issue (as I've said dozens of times on this thread). Nothing against gas. I'm against coal 'just in case'.

Really I've always been a registered independent... I became a 'card carrying Dem' when I thought there was going to be a second primary in FL (you can't vote in the primaries in FL unless you are a party member). My general opinion is both parties are nuts but lately the Reps certainly win the title.
