Krugman's Nobel was for his analysis of trading patterns and the location of economic activity. Not sure how much this is related to the Obama stimulus etc.

Chief con man , Al Gore, is also a Nobel prize winner, I have no respect for that institution.

Ooops....when you mention the "Center" you lose your credibility....the Echo Camber thread is not one you should be citing if you want anyone to take you seriously....

Krugman may be a liberal, but he is still a Nobel winning professor of economics with an impressive resume in the field.

In the general field of economics, but in issues of trade, not taxing, spending, stimulus etc.

Also he's not just liberal, he's rather extremely partisan. Which would not cause me to dismiss everything he says, but should properly be considered relevant when its not a matter of examining his actual arguments but rather of responding to arguments of authority ("well Krugman says xxxxx, who are you to disagree, did you win a noble prize")

(Not that I've seen those exact words from anyone, or any argument along those lines from you, but I have seen arguments along those lines from others)
