Amazing that the 69 year old up-tick rule can get scrapped just before the biggest shorting binge in history, and then just as quickly reinstated. &*%$#!!

But they are not rushing, they have agreed to TALK ABOUT IT next month.(The ordinary floor traders have been SCREAMING over the uptick rule being removed from the moment it happened, they have been ignored all along )
The removal of the rule was one of , i believe, the greatest act of blatant corruption in SEC history, and i mean it when i say that. The removal of rule by a 5-0 majority and without notification for debate, and kept quiet that the rule was changed, i repeat, i mean it when i say all 5 voters on the board got one very juicy surprise put in a secret off shore bank account.

There was NO WAY the uptick rule was removed without the SEC board voters getting a major bribe.

At the time it happened next to no one even knew it, it was only briefly mentioned in fine print of a couple press releases.

There was NO reason for the rule being removed except that Ultra Powerful People wanted it done and they made a bribe offer that was very juicy.
Anyone that thinks the SEC was merely asleep at the wheel and understaffed don't know sh-t. Max
