Citicorp occurred to me also, among other things it is heavily invested in Brazil and Brazil may be unwinding.

Hi Bonnie, >>RTC problem: at a global level. Multinationals will be hit (citicorp is my first guess).

For sure Japan and maybe now Hong Kong for Real Estate clean up. I don't think we have a handle on the Real Estate problems in the Tigers. Japan has managed to get through 7 or so years without addressing the problem and we could see a similar approaches with similar cultures. I am watching my holdings like GE for non payment type hits from the region.

Bonnie Bear as usual I am clueless on this subject. Except what I read in the press I do not have any hard factors. Sorry. I do not know CCI exposure in those countries and how they are hedging themself.

Bankers Trust and ING of Holland are big players in those markets. The problems will surface suring the next several months, but at the time that we will know about it it will be to late for us to act.

The major problem is the cross securitisation and syndication of those loan portfolios between the area Banks and US Banks.

Will try to keep you posted.
