Being aged, I'm well aware of my declining acute thinking, but enjoy the wisdom I have gained over the decades. The balance of value is no doubt why humans live so long - old people retain great value in evolutionary terms. Their value is NOT in their ability to run fast after gazelles or to fight lions or warriors from other tribes, it is sagacity. Is "Indian giver" an old expression? I notice when I visit museums that much of the display seems not even old. I used lots of the items in my youth. When I visit a museum and feel like part of it, I know I'm getting on. Mqurice
