They want to be able to take over the Catholic hospitals.

Plus they could see that liberals are appointed to the lay councils who'd enforce liberal morality on the church.

The RCC is the first target, then all the rest.

I expect and hope this will fail. It would mean the end of religious freedom in America.

What would come next? Persecution of unofficial unauthorized house churches?
