Dennis, I am long INTC most of the time but given the high volatility of the stock price I trade in and out. Right now I do not hold a position on the stock and short term (i.e., before year's end) I think we are more likely to see 65-70 than 100, at which time I plan to buy. Of course, my guess is as goos as any. In terms of Merced, I think it will be a great product though I doubt INTC will see any benefits from it next year. Hopefully, next year Intel may see the Pentium II established as the main processor in the PC market.

Unlike many other people in this group, I am not an Intel "expert". So take my opinion with a grain of salt.

Price target by the end of next year: A wild guess: $110-120.
