When Obama has only been in office a matter of weeks, how can the results of any of his policies be measured yet? Those who dislike his policies for ideological reasons have made their points clearly and loudly, but we have nothing to measure outcomes yet. The last six weeks have been a giant snipefest among pundits and politicians.

<<<But you have very little to say about what the critics say is the the faults in Obama's policies themselves.>>>

I am not a dyed in the wool Obama fan. Far from it.

I think Timothy Geithner, so far, has turned out to be a weak pick for Treasury Secretary.

Hillary Clinton has been terrific as Secretary of State but Obama has been a little too smitten with the Generals in the military. I guess you see things a little differently from his seat in Air Force One and Marine One.

As far as the economy goes, up to this point no one could have done a better job. He got as much out of the budget as it is possible with the Republicans threatening obstruction at every critical point.

The only real criticism is that he is not tough enough with Congressional Republicans. He is trying too hard to be bipartisan and trying to appease people that are too stupid to understand the dangers posed by the economy.

These are people who have caused us to spend trillions of dollars and forfeited our freedom to fight 19 terrorists with box cutters in the name of a holy war.

This is not to say that people with box cutters could not be crazy and cause a lot of damage. We have to guard against those crazies, but my gosh put that into some perspective. On the one hand you don't wnt another group of people with box cutters or backpacks with explosive get to together and hurt us. On the other hand we have to spend at least an equal amountof money to fight this global economic meltdown.

Now that we have to spend wisely to get our economy and the economies around the world back on track, all the fiscal conservative dummies are going crazy.
