But when someone is searching on the internet, they can type in whatever URL they want, or simply choose a bookmark ... of course, what I'm getting at, is that it's so easy to move between search engines, people will use whichever one they feel comfortable using. But what if MS happens to place a "search" icon on the desktop or if a "search" folder shows up in the user's Explorer view? Sure, users have the option of going elsewhere, but the default will be the MS implementation. Oftentimes, it's not which technology is better, it's which one the user first uses. They get used to using it and it takes alot for them to switch to something else, even if it is 1000 times better. On the positive side, I installed the SEEK Desktop application and I like it. Also, I like the way it hooks into your browser's toolbar. In fact, I run a couple of different versions of Netscape and IE and the SEEK install program found them all and updated the toolbars. Now, if they can just get that little applet on enough desktops before Win98/NT5.0 ship... -tk
