This guy wasn't going hunting...he was going out there to shoot something. There are folks here whose idea of a fun weekend is to stand on their front porch and shoot anything that passes by...for no reason at all..and then leave it there to rot. Birds, squirrels, snakes, whatever...I don't call that hunting. I call it killing... I'm of the opinion that the only good snake is a dead one and we get a lot of them around here and I kill them every time I see them. That's a bad thing? Honestly, shooting squirrel with a .22 can be fun. We spent many weekends as kids doing just this. That's a bad thing? Hell, they have a better chance of surviving an attack with a .22 than they do making it across the road without getting hit by a truck.
