One of the pollution types in the 2nd and 3rd world is simply garbage and rubbish. I remember being in a really nice office building in Cairo with the view from the conference room being an empty lot across the street full of rubbish. Of course then there were the sheep (perhaps they were goats) grazing in the garbage on the streets.
