I'll be kind and blame yer ignorance on the fact you are from Ga, and not Ca. Those of us with enuf available go ground mount; the others go roof. Actually I am not ignorant, in fact I am for solar and wind power, but it will never sell enough to be the only source of power. As for the NIMBY issue, lIbs who are for them are the same way. Kennedy prevented wind turbines in his back yard. Also, I think you are totally ignorant of migratory routes ov various animals,as most of us are. So sites will have to be carfully selected. Even then there will not be enough wind and solar to supply all of our needs all the time. Carbon based fuel will have to be burned for peaking, cloud cover, calm winds, and other reasons I have not thought of. I doubt you will be able to get enough power from most rooftop solar units, though it will surely go a long ways.
