Can you point me to anything more specific? I hear those slogans but no one has said how that will address all the immediate problems we face. It's more of an ideological stance since the Reps don't have to be responsible for passing and implementing anything.

They are starting to remind me of the opposition parties in the UK who sit in Parliament and howl in derision at the government bench, but are powerless to affect or effect anything.

What do you think the bailout money for the financial institutions is doing? Safety net spending so far is nothing compared to the billions we are spending on them.
