God--wish I'd had the forethought to do as you did... Actually I got a B- on the exam. Fortunately there'd been a recent article in Newsweek about the anniversary of Sun Yat-Sen's death, or birth, who remembers?, but it gave me something on which to embroider for the long essay question. Just slung it on the short essay question, and guessed at the multiple choice part. Not a stellar performance, but I DID write a decent term paper, and so was able to average up a good deal for the final grade...
