TO prove my point, yesterday while at the surgeon's office checking in for the 5 week check...after the tech took the x-rays, she tried to get them to come up on the cubicle's computer screen....after a few minutes, she apologized, and went to see what was happening...The Doc came in...Things are progressing well, but he wanted to see the X-Rays....so I had to stay there until they could get them. A 15 minute appointment time turned into a 60 minute amount of time before whatever glitch was fixed. The Doc was very pleased with the progress.... (Still no vacuuming, etc for a few more weeks...OH, Darn! <ggg>) But he and the tech apologized for wasting my time...

The tech did tell me their records were very secure and heavily encrypted....but does that mean any Doc in their system and in the hospital (or group of hospitals) and the Government, and the Insurance companies can have every piece of knowledge??

I read an article while waiting that made me wonder what if the person gives a fake ID and SS#...

And what Data Mining companies can use various pieces of info and what group/s will hire them to do it?
