You guys keep mentioning the name over and over and over. Message 25492244 "The Starfish Has Fleas". I put together a brief explanation of the organizational format being used, and the operations currently underway in the effort to transition America from capitalism to socialism to communism. This is a start. Very few americans understand how the Obama insurgency organization works, nor its intent, intermediate goals, and have not assessed how to fight it. If it is to be defeated and run to earth we will need our own fleas and local organizations of conservatives to do it. These organizations must not only ridicule them totally but must out-idea them and point out how they are just lackeys and propaganda outlets. uw Background information "Obama learned his lesson well. I am proud to see that my father's model for organizing is being applied successfully beyond local community organizing to affect the Democratic campaign in 2008. It is a fine tribute to Saul Alinsky as we approach his 100th birthday." --Letter from L. DAVID ALINSKY, son of Neo-Marxist Saul Alinsky "True revolutionaries do not flaunt their radicalism, Alinsky taught. They cut their hair, put on suits and infiltrate the system from within. Alinsky viewed revolution as a slow, patient process. The trick was to penetrate existing institutions such as churches, unions and political parties.... "One Alinsky benefactor was Wall Street investment banker Eugene Meyer, who served as Chairman of the Federal Reserve from 1930 to 1933. Meyer and his wife Agnes co-owned The Washington Post. They used their newspaper to promote Alinsky....Her series, called 'The Orderly Revolution', made Alinsky famous.... "Alinsky’s crowning achievement was his recruitment of a young high school student named Hillary Rodham. She met Alinsky through a radical church group. Hillary wrote an analysis of Alinsky’s methods for her senior thesis at Wellesley College. ... "Many leftists view Hillary as a sell-out because she claims to hold moderate views on some issues. However, Hillary is simply following Alinsky’s counsel to do and say whatever it takes to gain power. (now you know why Hillary has her role in Obama's plan and what a significant role it is) "Barack Obama is also an Alinskyite.... Obama spent years teaching workshops on the Alinsky method. In 1985 he began a four-year stint as a community organizer in Chicago, working for an Alinskyite group called the Developing Communities Project.... Camouflage is key to Alinsky-style organizing. While trying to build coalitions of black churches in Chicago, Obama caught flak for not attending church himself. He became an instant churchgoer." "Hillary, Obama and the Cult of Alinsky" by Richard Poe, 11-27-07. See also Community Oriented Policing "His name was Saul Alinsky, the mentor of Hillary Rodham Clinton, and the concierge emeritus of modern liberalism.... Alinsky was also the subject of the previously suppressed 1969 Wellesley Thesis by one Hillary Rodham.... [In it, she wrote that Alinsky's 1971 book] Rules for Radicals provides the organizer with a tactical style for community organization that assumes an adversarial relationship between groups of people in which one either dominates or is dominated. ... Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon. It is almost impossible to counterattack ridicule. Also, it infuriates the opposition, who then react to your advantage.” “Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.” "Rules for radicals" (I would add that ridicule is best used in a persistent character assassination process. This is PSYOPS. It is very difficult to overcome ridicule) This linked article describes the on-going move to socialism process. americanthinker.com Alinski was Ayers mentor. And Ayers still follows the guidelines in Alinski's book. Ayers is a compatriot of Rathke the founder of Acorn (They were both SDS members) and has a more than 20 year relationship with Obama (which Obama admits). I find Alinski's book to be a rewrite of the works of Engels and Marx, who worked and wrote together, and it includes the major teachings of Lenin. Interestingly Alinski's book was first published around 1971 or about 6 years after publication Mao's "Little Red Book." Or as known in China, "Quotations from Chairman Mao Zedong". Mao's intent was that everyone should have a copy for it contained guidance on how to achieve the political state he wanted which included full power for himself. Makes me wonder if there was collusion. IMO The important thing to understand today, as the word socialism is batted around, is socialism is not the end game state they desire. Alinski explains that the transition to socialism from capitalism is a necessary step in the evolutionary process to full communism. Acorn is the organization Alinski's friends created (and Obama supports) to conduct "The War of the Flea" (as described by Taber in his book with that title) on the United States. Taber published in 1965. One year after Mao's book and 5 years before Alinski. Acorn is structured for operations much like the Starfish as described in the book "The Starfish and The Spider". Al Qaeda has a similar structure. Acorn now has cells all over the US. Acorn's growth will likely become exponential with the infusion of the $2 Billion dollars hidden in the on-going massive spending spree. The spending spree itself is rooted in Lenin's teachings. Lenin wrote, "The best way to destroy the capitalist system is to debauch the currency." ~Vladimir Lenin We are witnessing the perfect storm. I think we should name it "The Starfish Has Fleas". Unclewest "ACORN, the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, began in 1970 as a spin-off from the National Welfare Rights Organization, founded by George Wiley, who enlisted civil rights workers and trained them in an Alinsky-influenced program at Syracuse University. From a base in Arkansas, Wade Rathke and Gary Delgado developed a replicable model of forming membership organizations and developing leaders in low-income neighborhoods — relying substantially on young middle-class staff working for subsistence wages. ACORN has established local housing corporations to rehabilitate homes, and has successfully pressured banks to provide mortgages and home improvement loans in low-income communities. ACORN has led “living wage” campaigns in many cities, and has forged alliances with labor unions. But ACORN isn’t just Alinsky-inspired. It’s a direct off-shoot of his revolutionary agenda: Around 1970 several national networks began to coalesce and develop systematic and distinctive approaches to community organizing. These include the Industrial Areas Foundation (IAF), ACORN, Citizen Action, National People’s Action, PICO, DART, and the Gamaliel Foundation. Each was indebted, in greater or lesser degree, to Alinsky and his early organizing programs in Chicago through IAF."noquarterusa.net
