Its actually a matter of logic. The mm post I responded to initially claimed technological innovation was going to make a big difference in alternative energy prices in the future and I addressed that issue. Future technological innovation. And your response to me also addressed future technological innovation as a "good assumption".

So I addressed the logic in making major investments in today's technology which will be made obsolete quickly if there is indeed rapid and major cost reducing technological innovations in this area.

You've failed to address the logical question and your response even avoids mentioning technological innovation ... now its just scale and "flow of capital" whatever you mean by that.

Capital isn't unlimited you know.

Re the issue of technological innovation in the exploration and drilling industries, it has served to lower costs from what they would have been otherwise, partly by making more reserves exploitable.
